Join our hosts this episode as they pick over the meagre handful of films they managed to see in the first week of the 2019 Sydney Film Festival.

Lip service is paid to the documentary Anthropocene and Clare Denis' High Life, but the meat goes to the films that both hosts manages to attend and those were Jennifer Kent's sophomore effort "The Nightingale" and Ben Wheatley's surprising little entry "Happy New Year Colin Burstead.

Join us next week for whatever our hosts made time for during week 2 of the festival!
